“Rapid Fire”

On Five Minute Continually Running Clock:
From 0:00 to 2:00, Run 400 Meters
From 2:00 to 3:00, As Many Kettlebell Swings As Possible (53lb. / 35lb.)
From 3:00 to 4:00, As Many Squats As Possible
From 4:00 to 5:00, As Many Hand Release Push-ups As Possible

Rest two minutes, record total repetitions achieved (running total), and then repeat for a total of three rounds.

Note: Today’s session comes from the exceedingly challenging Saturday 10AM class, and it’s a good one! How many people can maintain a 1:45 split time on their run, and 80 or more total Rx’d repetitions? If you do not finish the run before the 2:00 time cap, proceed directly to your Kettlebell Swing station.

Eliza is Athlete Of The Month!


Congratulations to Eliza who was recognized by Coach and the Athletes of CrossFit Pleasure Point as Athlete Of The Month! Eliza has made absolutely incredible improvement in every facet of her training at the gym, most noticeable her confidence in the Olympic lifting movements. She is now frequently Rx’ing the workouts and displays increasing virtuosity in everything she does inside the gym. In addition to her progress and training at CrossFit Pleasure Point, Eliza is also an avid runner, who is frequently spotted in the Pleasure Point neighborhood running, oftentimes with her partner Tom and their son Max. Eliza has smile that can brighten the room, and is constant source of encouragement and motivation for her training partners. When Eliza is not training hard, she is serving hard as a nurse in our community! Congratulations Eliza on all your success, both inside and outside the gym. Keep up the inspiring work!


Good luck to Coach who will be attending the California Peace Officers Standard and Training (POST) Police Chaplain Course this week in Sacramento. Please note there will be a slightly modified schedule next week as depicted below:

Please note there is no Bag Class, Krav Maga or Yoga this week. We will be offering a 5PM CrossFit workout on Tuesday and Thursday in place of Bag Class. All other classes will proceed as regularly scheduled.
